Kathy's accompanying email that tells the story (thanks Kat!)... "John & Sigrid are the hanai parents of my sister-in-Christ, Melissa Beatty, from Mokuaikaua Church. Melissa said they were on the Big Island, and will only be stopping by her Christian bookstore, Nu 'Oli (Glad Tidings), on their way to Ka'u.
So you know me...I said I was going to come, and I'm calling another alum, Deron. Wonderful seeing Southworth again, and fun talking story, reminescing. He mentioned names like Pottinger, Speitel, etc. Talk about a time warp. And boy, John has a memory, remembering specific events and projects that I hadn't thought about in years. And as you can see in the pictures, he looks the same!"
